Jammu woman, admitted in isolation ward, tests positive for Coronavirus

A woman, who remains admitted at the isolation ward of theGovernment Medical College and Hospital, Jammu has tested positive forCOVID-19.

“The woman has been tested positive, while thesuspected man will be tested again for the novel disease,” Dr ShafqatKhan, Nodal Officer to Control Coronavirus, told Greater Kashmir.

   

The report of the medical test of the woman, who hails fromSarwal and had recently returned from Iran, came last evening in which she hasbeen confirmed of having Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, the man who hails from Satwari, and had returnedfrom South Korea, is being again tested for the disease.

Both these patients had fled from the isolation ward of thehospital and travelled to their residences in Sarwal and Satwari. Later, healthauthorities and the police brought them back to the hospital. As they met withtheir family and stayed with them, the health authorities kept their familiesunder surveillance.#COVID19.
