Jammu Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) President, Altaf Bukhari on Wednesday greeted people on Shab-e-Baraat and hoped the auspicious occasion would be harbinger of peace, prosperity and well-being for entire humanity.
In his message, Bukharidescribed the occasion as an opportunity to seek Allah’s mercy and help forredemption from the crisis of COVID19 that has crippled the entire world.
Appealing people to abideby the COVID19 health advisories, the JKAP President remarked that people weregoing through extremely hard times and any violation of protocol set by thehealth department to tackle the deadly disease can put lives of people introuble.
“I humbly request peopleto go strictly by the government advisories and also appeal religious scholarsto guide people to take required steps to stem spread of coronavirus pandemicwhile observing the sacred night of Shab-e-Barat,” he appealed.
Highlighting significanceof Shab-e-Baraat, the JKAP President said the auspicious occasionprovides an opportunity to people to seek forgiveness and blessings of Allah.
“While we pray to AlmightyAllah for forgiveness, we should also seek Allah’s mercy to save the entirehumanity from the havoc created by the deadly virus,” he remarked.
Bukhari observed thatduring the holy night of prayers, people should seek penance and forgivenessfrom Almighty Allah and vow to be compassionate and work towards strengtheningbonds of brotherhood, love and amity among themselves.
