The Jammu Kashmir People’s Movement today accused PDP-BJP led Govt in Jammu and Kashmir of ‘proving shelter and patronage to the communal forces  attacking and harassing the Muslim minority across the Jammu province’.

Senior Hurriyat leader and JKPM Chairman Mir Shahid Saleem while talking to a delegation of victims at Jammu said, “RSS has long been conspiring to change the demographic character of the Jammu and Kashmir and now with the BJP coming to power at the centre and in Jammu and Kashmir they have started implementing their anti Muslim agenda with full force and aggression”.

He said the most unfortunate part of the story was that ‘the govt instead of reining in the communal elements was providing shelter and patronage to their criminal and anti Muslim acts’. He alleged “Anti Muslim agenda was being run and directed by the RSS headquarters in Nagpur and the state BJP was full filling its commitment to the anti Muslim cause by supporting the criminal acts of the communal forces”.
