Kashmir incomplete without Kashmiri Pandits: Dilawar Mir

Senior Apni Party leader Dilawar Mir Sunday said that Kashmir Pandits were part and parcel of Kashmiryat and Kashmir was incomplete without them.

Addressing a workers meet of Kashmiri displaced community in Trilokpur, Mir said he was aware of the problems being faced by the displaced community and assured them that Apni Party would take up their problems with the Government of India and Lt Governor Manoj Sinha for redress.

He said that the displacement of Kashmiri Pandits was a big tragedy and Kashmiri Muslims who lived in harmony with them missed them and yearned for the day they would return and live with them like earlier.

He said that the role of Kashmiri Pandits in the present political scenario of J&K was important.

Senior party leader and noted Kashmiri Pandit Vijay Bakaya said time had come for the community to assert itself politically by supporting Apni Party which was the only party working towards reducing the trust deficit that existed between the people of Kashmir and the Government of India that listens to the Apni Party leaders headed by Altaf Bukhari.

He said that Apni Party would strive to draw a roadmap for the return of Kashmiri Pandits to Kashmir and ensure their dignified rehabilitation.
