The traffic on Jammu-Srinagar Highway was on Thursday disrupted for some time due to landslide triggered by overnight rains at Maroog.
The incessant rains that lashed Wednesday night in the area triggered landslide on highway at Maroog due to which the road remained blocked for several hours, an official said.
Hundreds of vehicles remained stranded on both sides on the highway.
Contractor company of the Highway pressed their machinery into service for clearing debris from the highway.
The highway was thrown open for vehicular movement after some hours, the official said.
