The Revenue Department has warned officials of action under rules if they continue to remain absent from work without permission.
“It has been observed that the officials of this department proceeded on leave without obtaining prior permission or sanction of the competent authority,” reads a circular issued by the Additional Secretary, Revenue Department, Sudershan Kumar.
Kumar has pointed out that the employees mark their attendance and leave their section and remain “untraceable”.
“Some employees leave the office before 5:30 pm which is the official time,” Kumar said in the circular asking the employees and officials to strictly adhere to the rules and attend their office.
