Lt Guv Murmu, Advisors greet people on Holi

Lt Governor Girish Chandra Murmu on Sunday greeted people ahead of Holi, the festival of colours.

In his message, Murmu observed that the celebration offestivals, a valuable part of the rich cultural heritage, strengthens the bondsof brotherhood and amity.

   

He expressed hope that Holi, which heralds the advent ofspring, will spread happiness and joy all around and promote communal harmony.

Wishing a happy Holi to the people, Murmu prayed for theirwell-being, prosperity and peace.

Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar hasextended wishes to people of Jammu and Kashmir on the eve of auspiciousoccasion of Holi festival.

In his message, the Advisor said that the festival ofcolours is celebrated across all social barriers and faiths, symbolising thespirit of unity, harmony and brotherhood of our nation.

The Advisor hoped that the festival will usher new dawn ofpeace, prosperity and development in entire Jammu and Kashmir.
