NationalConference (NC) provincial president, Devender Singh Rana on Saturdayconstituted two election campaign committees for Udhampur-Kathua andJammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituencies besides campaign coordination committee.
Formerminister and National Conference State secretary, Surjeet Singh Slathia willhead the campaign committee for 5-Udhampur-Kathua Parliamentary constituencywhile the senior leader and former minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra will head thepanel for 6-Jammu-Poonch constituency. The campaign coordination committee willbe headed by the State secretary, Rattan Lal Gupta.
As per therelease, the campaign committees will coordinate with Vikramaditya Singh andRaman Bhalla, the two Congress candidates for Udhampur-Kathua and Jammu-PoonchLok Sabha seats.
The36-member campaign committee for the 5-Udhampur-Kathua Parliamentaryconstituency, headed by Surjeet Singh Slathia, will comprise of Khalid NajeebSuharwardy, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Sheikh Abdul Rehman, Thakur Kashmira Singh,Brij Mohan Sharma, Abdul Gani Malik, Jagjeevan Lal, Iqbal Bhat, Abdul WahidShan, Dr Chaman Lal Bhagat, Sajjad Shaheen, Ajit Kumar Sharma, Tanveer Kichloo,Romi Khajuria, Dhian Chand, Sagar Chand, Dr Shahshad Shan, Prem Sagar Aziz, K KBakshi, Dharam Pal Kundal, Bharti Sharma, Qasim Din Bania, Pyare Lal Sharma,Pushpa Dogra, Raj Kapoor, Zafar Ullah Rathar, Riaz Bhaderwahi, Syed Asgar Ali,Mehboob Iqbal, Choudhary Salam Din, Vijay Lochan, Qasim Din Bania, NeelamSharma, Ashfaq Chouhan, Qusser Parveen Bhatti and Abdul Gani Teli as itsmembers.
The 54-committee for 6-Jammu-Poonch led by Ajay Kumar Sadhotra will include Surjeet Singh Slathia, S Harbans Singh, Mirza Abdul Rashid, Babu Rampal, Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari, Thakur Rachpal Singh, Ajaz Jan, Javed Rana, Dr Kamal Arora, S Tarlochan Singh Wazir, Haji Mohammed Hussain, Master Noor Hussain, Vijay Bakaya, Bimla Luthra, Vijay Lakshmi Dutta, Deepender Kour, Ikhlaq Khan, Jugal Mahajan, Guirdeep Singh Sasan, S S Bunty, Rahim Daad, Satwant Kour Dogra, Qazi Mohammad Syed Beig, Bagh Hussain Rathore, Wali Daad, Israr Khan, Shafayat Khan, Vipan Lal Sharma, Bhushan Uppal, Choudhary Liaqat Ali, Som Nath Khajuria, Choudhary Haroon, Dharamveer Singh Jamwal, B R Kundal, Dr Gagan Bhagat, Swaran Lata, Mohinder Gupta, Muzzafar Iqbal Khan, Mohammad Aslam Khan, Choudhary Nazir Hussain, Hashim Din Quershi, Mumtaz Bazar, Peer Anayat Bukhari, Hameed Rana, Dilshad Malik, Rita Gupta, Mohinder Singh, Dr Gafoor, Naresh Bittu, Abdul Gani Teli, Vijay Lochan, Daljeet Singh and Nar Singh as its members.
The 4-membercampaign coordination committee for the Jammu-Poonch and Udhampur KathuaParliamentary constituencies will be headed by State secretary, Rattan LalGupta and will have Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Anil Dhar and Pradeep Bali as itsmembers.
According toa spokesman of the party, all the district and block National Conferencecommittees will function as the election committees for the parliamentaryelections.
