An inspection of Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu was conducted on Wednesday for implementation of Quality Assurance Programme and certification of the facility under NQAS under the supervision of Bhupinder Singh, MD NHM DHS Jammu.
The team was apprised about the services and facilities available in the hospital by Dr A D S Manhas, medical superintendent, and Dr Perupkar Singh, deputy MS Gandhi Nagar Hospital, after which the team had an elaborate round of the hospital, especially Labour Room-OT complex, Sick Newborn Care Unit, newly constructed Dialysis unit, District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), Skill lab, AYUSH Clinic, wards, Laboratory, Radiology unit and OPD.
The team also inspected the site for construction of Effluent Treatment plant in the facility. During the rounds, the MD interacted with the patients and took their feedback.
He appreciated the hard work and dedication of medical superintendent and his team and further advised to maintain the good work and provide all the facilities to the patients.
