National Mazdoor Conference(NMC) president ,Subash Shastri here on Sunday expressed concern over the slow process of regularization of thousands of daily rated workers working in the various departments from years together falling under SRO 520 and appealed the Governor administration to immediate amend the said SRO and make it workers, casual laborers friendly in respect of simplifying the procedure .
As per press statement, addressing NMC workers meet, Shastri said ,”It is very unfortunate government has taken lot of time to consider and settled the issues of daily rated workers under SRO 520 and so far only six hundred cases have been cleared.”
Shastri urged Governor Administration to immediately provide funds so as to enable respective departments to pay the long pending wages of all daily rated workers.
Rajan Babu Khajuria, B S Jamwal, Surrinder Kumar, Shiv Ram Sharma, Romesh Sharma, Jai Pal Sharma, Ram Singh, Darshan Bawa, Surinder Kumar, Sardhri Lal and Sudesh Bhagat were also present in the meeting.
