The Raj Bhavan Wednesday said that the governor Satya Pal Malik has decided that there will be no official celebrations related to the ‘Holi’ festival at his office.
A Raj Bhavan spokespersonsaid in statement that “as a mark of respect towards the CRPF personnel whoattained martyrdom in a suicide attack at Pulwama on 14 February 2019, therewill be no official celebrations related to the ‘Holi’ festival at Raj Bhavan”.
“The governor has conveyed that he too would go without theHoli celebrations this year in memory of the martyrs,” the statement read.
