At least 26 units will be awarded the Northern Command Army Commander’s Unit citation for their outstanding contribution to the nation and Indian army.
According to the Defense spokesperson, Northern Command Investiture Ceremony 2021 will be organized at Dhruva Auditorium inside Chinar compound at Udhampur Military Station on February 27, 2021 to honour the army officers, JCOs and soldiers who have been bestowed with gallantry awards for their bravery and distinguished military service.
“Lt Gen YK Joshi, GOC-in-C, Headquarters Northern Command will present the gallantry and distinguished service awards to 61 army personnel,” as per the Defence spokesperson.
