Of 41, BJP led in 28 Assembly segments in Jammu, Ladakh

Bharatiya Janata Party, which won all three Lok Sabha seats in Jammu and Ladakh regions, led in 28 Assembly segments out of 41 in both the divisions.

The party managed to get 16,18359 votes out of total27,93580 polled on all three seats Jammu (858066), Udhampur (724311) and Ladakh(42914). Party increased its vote share to whopping 58 percent.

   

Figures revealed that of total 20 Assembly segments in Jammu-PoonchParliamentary seat BJP led in all 13 Assembly constituencies of Jammu and Sambadistricts namely Jammu East, Jammu West, Gandhi Nagar, Nagrota, Bishnah, RanbirSingh Pura, Suchet Ghar, Raipur Domana, Akhnoor, Chaamb, Samba and Vijaypur,where BJP candidate managed to secure 705561 votes. The BJP also led on twoAssembly segments of Rajouri district, Kalakote and Nowshera while Congress gotleads in five remaining Assembly seats of Rajouri, Budhal, Poonch, Surankoteand Mendhar.

In Udhampur, BJP led in 10 Assembly segments out of 17. BJPmaintained its lead in Reasi and Ramban Assembly segments also. Congressmanaged narrow lead in Kishtwar, Inderwal, Doda, Bhaderwha, Banihal, Gulabgharand Gool Arnas.

In Ladakh BJP led in three out of four Assembly segments,Leh, Nubra and Zanskar while Independent candidate Sajad Kargili got lead inKargil only.
