On social media BJP blames it all on PDP

A day after BJP president Amit Shah blamed Peoples Democratic Party for dishonouring their agenda alliance in Jammu and Kashmir the saffron party launched a scathing social media campaign against its former ally in Jammu and Kashmir.

The BJP appears to have activated its IT cell to push its view that the PDP stalled development in the Hindu dominated Jammu region where the saffron party won all seats in the last state election in 2014.

The J&K BJP and BJP4India, official Twitter handles of the party targeted the PDP, blaming it for not allowing construction of community and individual bunkers along the International Border and Line of Control, AIIMS, delaying IIM session on time and not preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for Jammu smart city proposal.

“Jammu Kashmir Main Vikas Se Judi Bhajpa Ki Vikas Yojanaon Ko Peoples Democratic Party Ne Atkaya (In J&K, the BJP’s schemes related to development were stalled by PDP),” one post in Hindi, with Prime Minister’s image on the state BJP’s Twitter handle, read.

“Seemavarti Shetra Ke Nivasiyon Ki 70 Saal Purani Maang Ko Pura Karte Hue Samudayik Aur Vyaktigat Bunkeron Ke Nirmaan Ke Liye Rs 400 Crore Ki Raashi Swikrit Ki Gai, Lekin Rajya Sarkar Dwara Is Disha Main Koi Karya Nahi Kiya Gaya (Fulfilling the long pending demand of the border residents, Rs 400 crore were sanctioned for the construction of community and individual bunkers, but the state government did nothing in this regard.”

Another tweet on BJP4India, official twitter handle of the saffron party, also posted similar claims about many development projects in Jammu region blaming the PDP for failure in expected progress.

Interestingly, except revenue and education department ministries, ministries responsible for fulfilling the predevelopments projects were with the BJP, Shah made no mention of.
