‘Pak Army’s ex commando detained near Samba border’

Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended an ex Pakistani army personnel near International Border in Samba district last night.

“Alert troops of 80 battalion BSF during routine patrollingnear Glar post apprehended one Pakistan national namely Mohamad Afzal of 29 yearsof age who is a resident of Shakkargarh (Pak),” a Jammu based BSF spokespersonsaid.

   

Officials sources said that the intruder was a trainedsoldier, who had served as Commando in Pakistan Army’s Special Service Group.

The BSF and other wings of intelligence agenciesinterrogated intruder through the night to know his intentions about crossingthe border, official sources said.

 “Two mobiles phones,two headphones, one handkerchief was recovered from his possession,” thespokesperson said.

“Later at 1.00 in the night he was handed over to PolicePost Rakh Ambtali under Police Station Samba,” the spokesperson added.

The BSF is yet to reveal if anything suspicious wasrecovered from him. The BSF officials have said that the investigation isunderway in the case.
