Protest against infiltrations lodged at DGMO-level talks

India has lodged a strong protest with Pakistan against an infiltration bid by Pakistani militants in the Sunderbani sector at the Director-General of Military Operations (DGMO)-level talks.

Sources said that deputy DGMOs of both countries talked around 20-muinutes. During the talks India lodged strong protest over the recent Sunderbani incident in which three Indian Army soldiers were killed and one suffered critical injuries, after Pakistani “intruders attacked an army patrol near Line of Control”.

“Stern warning has also been conveyed to the Pakistan Army for allowing militants to use its soil to harm India,” sources said

This comes in the wake of the recent attack on the Indian Army patrol along the LoC.

The last DGMO level talk was held on May 29, 2018.
