Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will join the BJP’s election campaign in Jammu province on Monday.
Singh will address public rallies to support union ministerof state in Prime Minister’s Office Dr Jitendra Singh and Jugal Kishor Sharma,party’s candidates from Udhampur-Doda-Kathua and Jammu-Poonch constituenciesrespectively.
He will address rallies at Bhaderwah in Doda district, Marhand Suchatghar in Jammu district.
Union minister will arrive in Jammu on Monday morning andfly to Bhaderwah town.
In the afternoon, Singh will address two rallies at Marh andSuchatghar of Jammu district and return to Delhi same day.
Singh is the third top BJP leader, who will be joining thecampaign after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party’s national president AmitShah.
With National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party notfielding candidates on two seats, the region will see a direct clash betweenthe BJP and Congress. Polling on Jammu-Poonch seat will be held on April 11while that on Udhampur seat it will be held on April 18.
