Sajad Lone, Altaf Bukhari, Imran Ansari, Tarigami, Shehla Rashid others express condolences

Peoples Conference Chairman Sajad Gani Lone and General Secretary Imran Reza Ansari on Saturday expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Benazir Altaf, daughter of senior NC leader Mian Altaf.

Sajad while expressing condolences with Mian Atlaf and family said: “I am pained and deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Mian Altaf Sahib’s daughter, Benazir Altaf. My heartfelt condolences to the family of Mian Altaf. May Allah grant her the highest place in Jannah and give strength and patience to the bereaved family in this difficult hour.”

Ansari also expressed condolences with the bereaved family.

“My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. May Allah grant her (Benazir) highest place in Jannah and give Mian Sahib’s family the patience to bear this irreparable loss.”

Other PC leaders including Abdul Gani Vakil, Bashir Ahmed Dar, Abbas Wani, Irfan Ansari, and Junaid Mattoo also expressed condolences with the bereaved family.

Former finance minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari expressed deep shock and grief over the demise. In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari described the demise of Benazir Altaf at such a young age, a huge loss to the family, friends and acquaintances of Mian Saheb’s family. “I extend my heartfelt condolences to Mian Altaf Sahib, his family, friends and associates at this time of grief,” Bukhari said, adding that the loss of a daughter that too at such a young age is heartbreaking.

Muhammad Yusuf Tarigami extended his heartfelt sympathies with Mian Altaf. “I equally share the pain of bereaved family at this hour of grief”, he said.

Senior PDP leader Nizamuddin Bhat expressed sympathy and sorrow. In his condolences Bhat prayed for eternal peace to departed soul and enough strength for the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Similarly National Conference leader Farooq Ahmad Shah condoled the demise of Benazir Altaf and that of a renowned social worker Haji Ali Mohammad of Heer, Tangmarg. In a statement, Shah said that the demises were heartbreaking and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.

Director academics in JK Board of School Education (BOSE), Dr Farooq Ahmad Peer extended his condolences to Mian Altaf and prayed for granting highest place in paradise for the departed soul.

JKPM leaders visited also visited Mian Altaf’s residence to express condolences with the bereaved family.JKPM leader Shehla Rashid met the family members and expressed her condolences.
