BJP leaders discuss Kashmir situation with RSS

Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh and other senior leaders of BJP today discussed the prevailing Kashmir situation with senior RSS leaders in a closed door meeting.

The meeting, which was chaired by Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Parmukh (All India campaign chief), RSS, Manmohan Vaidya, resolved that the government should deal strictly with the elements creating trouble in the Kashmir valley.

“It was also resolved that efforts should also be made by the government to bring people in the mainstream and indulge them in nationalist activities,” state general secretary (Prant Karyavah), RSS, Parshotam Dedeechi, who also attended the meeting, said.

The meeting was attended by BJP state president Sat Sharma, party general secretary Dr Narinder Singh, BJP MPs, RSS Prant Sanghchalak Brig Suchet Singh and other senior leaders of RSS.

The members expressed serious concern over the present situation in the valley “and termed it as serious”. They maintained that the situation is very serious in the valley and immediate steps should be taken to restore normalcy there.
