Traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu highway would ply from Srinagar towards Jammu on Thursday, officials said.
“It was raining today evening on Jammu-Srinagar highway.However, subject to fair weather and good road condition, one-way traffic (forboth LMVs and HMVs) would ply from Srinagar towards Jammu on March 7,” anofficial spokesman said in a statement.
“The commuters are advised not to travel during night hours.No movement of any type of vehicle shall be allowed from the oppositedirection. People are advised to undertake journey on highway only afterconfirming status of the road from traffic and police control rooms in Srinagarand Jammu,” the spokesman said.
