A traffic policeman was crushed to death by a speeding truck atJogi Morh, Surankote on Jammu-Poonch highway on Friday.
The deceased was identified asAftab Parvez, a resident of Poonch.
An official said that a team of traffic policemen was standingat a naka at Jogi Morh when a truck on way from Jammu to Poonch crushed onepoliceman.
“The policeman died on thespot,” he said, adding that the truck driver fled from the spot.
However, the truck has beenseized.
