Former Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and senior National Conference (NC) leader Vijay Bakaya has resigned from the party.
Bakaya had sent his resignation letter to the NationalConference leadership, which was accepted by the National Conference,Provincial President, Devinder Singh Rana, on behalf of National Conference,President, Dr Farooq Abdullah, who is presently under detention.
Yesterday, two senior Congress Party leaders, Manjeet Singhand Vikram Malhotra, had resigned from the basic membership of the party.
All the three leaders are likely to join Altaf Bukhari’s newpolitical party (APNI Party) which is going to be launched on March 8, 2020 inSrinagar.
