Woman duped of Rs 23.50 lakh; Crime Branch conducts raids

Crime Branch Jammu conducted raids and searches in the houses of three ‘accused’ allegedly involved in duping a woman complainant of Rs 23.25 lakhs.

According to SSP Crime Branch Jammu, the search warrant was issued by the Court of Special Mobile Magistrate, Passenger Tax & Shops Establishment Act Jammu. The searches were conducted in the houses of Kulbir Singh son of Sansar Singh resident of Bhau R S Pura Jammu, Narotam Singh son of Ram Saran resident of Marjali Kangrail Jammu at present H No 267 Gandhi Nagar Jammu and Kulranjan Sharma alias Sonu son of Om Parkash Sharma resident of 401, Rani Talab, Digiana Jammu in case FIR No. 39/2020 U/S 420,120-B IPC Police Station Crime Branch Jammu for their alleged involvement in hatching criminal conspiracy in providing the JCB machine to the complainant and duping her of an amount of Rs.23,50,000.
