A woman-son duo was among three Jammu and Kashmir residents who were killed in a tragic road accident in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday.
As per reports, three persons, including a woman and her son were killed when the car they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge at Saru area on Chamba-Pathankot road.
The deceased, identified as Rakesh Kumar (35) son of Mahender Kumar, Vikas Kumar (25) son of Raj Kumar and KamleshKumari (54) wife of Raj Kumar, all residents of ward number 1, Basohli tehsil of Kathua district, had gone to Chamba to attend a social function.
Reports said that the bodies of the deceased were handed over to their family members after performing the autopsy at a Chamba hospital.
Himachal police have also registered a case under section 279, 337, 304A and taken up the investigation.
