A one-day training workshop on Leprosy Case Detection Campaign (LCDC) for Block Medical Officers and Incharge Medical Officers of Jammu was organized by office of Chief Medical Officer Jammu.
An official statement said micro action plan of modalitiesto be used during 14 days of LCDC was deliberated in detail. Director HealthServices, Jammu Dr Samir Mattoo was the Chief Guest.
Special emphasis was given on operational preparedness andadherence of timelines, roles and responsibilities of each member of team wasexplained in detail. Aim of this workshop was to detect the hidden cases ofLeprosy, if any to be detected and treated at the earliest to bring eliminationof Leprosy to desired Level, the statement said.
