A woman was killed while six others were injured in three separate road accidents across Poonch district on Wednesday.
As per police reports, a Tata Magic auto bearingregistration no JK12 6674 skidded off the road and rolled into a gorge around 6pm.
In the accident, Parveen Akhter wife of Kafeel Ahmedresident of Tranwali died on the spot.
Four persons were injured in the accident. They includeddriver Zamurat Khan son of Farooz Khan resident of Bufliaz, Abdul Quyoom sonof Abdul Aziz resident of Sayalan,Hadyat Khan son of Sultan Khan resident of Bufliaz and Mohammad Aslam son ofIqbal Khan resident of Dogrian. All the injured have been hospitalized. Policehas registered a case and started investigation.
Meanwhile, police said a man namely Bittu Kumar son of PakhuRam resident of Chowki Choura Jammu got injured after he was hit by amotorcycle at Yadgar chowk Mendhar.
In the third incident, a woman namely Shamim Akhter wife ofMuhammad Mehboob resident of village Bedar was hit by a motorcycle at villageBedar Mandi as a result she got injured and was shifted to SDH Mandi.
