As many as 11 J&K policemen from Special Operations Group (SOG) were injured in a road accident on Srinagar-Jammu highway near Pampore in Pulwama district on Sunday.
An official said that nearly a dozen policemen were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in, collided with a truck on the Srinagar-Jammu highway near Galender Pampore on Sunday morning.
Police personnel from police station Pampore and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. The injured were shifted to sub district hospital Pampore where from five seriously injured were referred to bone & joint hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment. Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard.
