Two boys were wounded in Dhamhal Hanjipora area of southern Kulgam district after a littered shell went off on Wednesday.
As per reports, two boys Shahid (12) and Ikhlaq (11) werefiddling with the device when it exploded, causing injuries to both of them.
One of the boys, Ikhlaq, was referred to district hospitalKulgam for advanced treatment.
Shahid has received injuries in his hand while Ikhlaqsuffered wounds in his face.
As per doctors the condition of both the boys was stable.
Police have taken cognizance and are probing thecircumstances of the blast, said an official. GKNN
