Police today claimed to have arrested a drug peddler in Ganderbal recovering contraband from his possession.
Giving details, a police handout said: “Officers at acheckpoint established at Waripora Safapora intercepted and arrested one drugpeddler identified as
Muhammad Ibrahim Bhat son of Muhammad Ramzan Bhat ofWaripora Safapora.
Meanwhile, one drug peddler has been arrested in Sopore andpsychotropic substances recovered from his possession, the statement said.
Giving details it said that Sopore police arrested one drugpeddler at a checkpoint and recovered psychotropic substances from hispossession.
Meanwhile, case FIR 76/2019 under relevant sections has beenregistered in Police Station Tarzoo and investigation initiated.
