Police arrested two drug peddlers at a checkpoint near Nigeen and seized contraband substance from their possession.
They have been identified as Mohammad Abdullah Rishi and MohammadGuroo of Sumbal. They were taken to Police Station Nigeen where they remain incustody.
Officers at the checkpoint have seized 500 grams of charas.A car bearing registration number HR03N 6865 has was also seized by theofficers.
In this regard, theFIR under relevant sections of law has been registered and investigation takenup.
