Army on Sunday said that a two week long Equine Training Programme for interns of B.V. Sc and A.H, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, SKUAST-Kashmir commenced at 54 Advanced Field Veterinary Hospital here on Saturday.
“The progarmme has been organised by the Chinar Corps. Themain focus of the training program is on treatment, breeding, care andmanagement of Equines (Horses and Mules) for interns every year. The inauguration was attended by Dr G NSheikh, Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and other faculty members from theveterinary college, Col Ravi Girdhar and other Army officers from the station,”an Army spokesman said in a statement.
