Two women were rescued after a boat capsized in Wular Lake near Zurimanz village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday.
An official said that mother-daughter duo drowned aftertheir boat capsized in Wular Lake near the navy camp.
“They wereimmediately rescued after navy men noticed the incident,” he said.Locals said that Rafiqa Begum and her daughterLaali were going to Sopore via Wular Lake when their boat capsized in the lake.
