On the 20th death anniversary of Allama Mohammad Qasim Shah Bukhari (RA), a special Quran recitation Majlis will be observed on Friday at Sekidaffar, Safakadal, here.
President, Intizamia Committee Khankah Allama Bukhari,Sekidaffar, Nazir Ahmad Wani said a special Quran Khawani Majlis will beobserved on Friday from 12 noon at Khankah Allama Bukhari, Sekidaffar,Safakadal.
He said the Majlis shall continue after Friday prayers tillAsr prayers.
He said religious scholars from across Kashmir on theoccasion will shed light on the life and achievements of Allama Bukhari.
Vice-president Intizamia Committee Khankah Allama Bukhari,Sekidaffar, Farooq Ahmad Pathan said special arrangements have been made forthis occasion where the speakers will pay glowing tributes to Allama Bukhari.
Allama Mohammad Qasim Shah Bukhari was a great religiousscholar in Kashmir who besides authoring scores of books on different Islam,also translated Quran into Kashmiri language.
