Three persons including a woman were injured critically after a bear attacked them in Sheerabad village of Tral in Pulwama district on Friday.
The injured, who belong to same family were returning from agriculture field when they were attacked by the wild bear, injuring them critically.
A local said after hearing the cries, people rushed to the spot and took the injured to a local hospital from where they were shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
The injured were identified as Afzal Thokar, son of Muhammad Shaban Thoker, his wife Hafiza bano and Irfan Thoker son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Thokar – all residents of Sheerabad.
