Three persons were detained by Police from Rathsuna village of south Kashmir’s Tral in Pulwama district Friday night.
According to reports, a huge contingent of SpecialOperations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police raided several residential housesand detained at least three people in Rathsuna.
A police official said that these persons have been detainedover charges of stone pelting.
“The detainees are being quizzed for their alleged rolein stone pelting incidents,” he said.
On Wednesday clashes erupted between youths and securityforces near Jamia Masjid Rathsuna after forces launched acordon-and-search-operation (CASO).
Locals resorted to stone-pelting to disrupt the CASO.However, security forces lobbed teargas shells to disperse the protestingyouth.
