Police on Tuesday seized 20 vehicles and fined 43 violators for defying government orders in Kulgam.
In a statement issued, police said that 43 violators were fined for not wearing masks in Kulgam and fine to the tune of Rs 4,700 was collected from them.
It further added that 20 vehicles were also seized in the district for violating orders issued by the administration.
Police requested the general public to follow the directions issued by the Government in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and warned those found violating the orders will be dealt as per law.
