‘44 held in Bandipora for violating lockdown orders’

Police on Wednesday detained 44 persons and seized 12 vehicles for allegedly violating lockdown orders by the government in the district.

The police also registeredsix FIRs in this regard, a police official said.

   

Hesaid the police and CAPF personnel enforced restrictions in the district as perthe orders of the government. SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik said people shouldcooperate and not move out of their homes unnecessarily.

Earlier, the J&Kadministration had announced lockdown across Jammu and Kashmir till 31st Marchas part of its efforts to curb the spread of coronavirus.
