New Delhi and its local collaborators have never been serious in providing justice to Kashmiris and that is why their killers are roaming free.
Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman and Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir (HCJK) leader Nayeem Ahmad Khan has paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Wamiq Farooq on his fifth anniversary.
Wamiq was martyred on January 31, 2010 after he was hit by a teargas shell fired by police near Ghani Memorial stadium, Rajouri Kadal, in old City here.
Calling Wamiq Farooq as the first martyr of 2010 mass agitation, Nayeem Khan, in a statement today, said, “It has been an unending battle for Farooq Ahmad Wani and his wife for the past five years to get the killers of their 13-year-old beloved son punished. But New Delhi and its local collaborators have never been serious in providing justice to Kashmiris and that is why their killers are roaming free. Not only this, they have been accorded promotions.”
“Dreams of Wamiq’s parents shattered when they received body of their beloved son. Same has happened with a large number of parents, kith and kin who’s nears and dears have been martyred by the men in uniform in the name of law and order and the national interest,” Khan said, reiterating pledge to take the ongoing freedom struggle to its logical end.
