At least five youth have been detained in an overnight raid in Nasrullahpora village of this district, police said on Sunday.
Llocals alleged the police resorted to “vandalism” and arrested the youth during the raid, which they said created a ‘mayhem” in the village, located around four km from district headquarters. SSP Budgam, Amod Nagpure confirmed the arrests of five youth over “stone-pelting” charges. He, however, denied allegation of damage to the property.
