57 ‘contacts’ of 4 Covid-19 cases quarantined in Hajin

At least 57 people who came in contact with the four persons who tested positive for Covid-19, have been shifted to quarantine centres in Hajin area of this district on Thursday.

Medical Superintendent CHC Hajin, Dr Nasir Ahamd said therewere apprehensions that more people had come in contact with the positivecases. “They are being traced and will be send to quarantine centres,” he said.

   

A team of doctors visited over 100 houses in this villageand collected details about the inmates. The team has identified more than 100people who have come into contact with the four infected patients.

“All these persons will be screened and quarantined,” saidDr Nisar.

Meanwhile, officials in Hajin today again appealed peoplewho came in contact, directly or indirectly, with the four infected cases tocome forward and reveal details to the health authorities.
