A 65-year old man drowned after he slipped into a nallah in a village in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Sunday.
Reports said that the deceased, identified as GhulamMohammed Dar son of Kamal Dar of Hib Dangarpora, slipped in the nallah at Pohrunear Hib Dangarpora while washing his face.
A police officer confirmed the incident and said the Dar’sbody was later retrieved from the nallah. He said a case in this regard hasbeen registered and further investigation has been initiated.
