On the 31st day of the ongoing Amarnath Yatra, 7,917 pilgrims paid obeisance at the holy cave on Wednesday, bringing the total to 3,39,687 pilgrims.
Meanwhile, one critically ill pilgrim, identified as38-year-old Devi M, wife of Meherman of Hatisar in Assam, was airlifted fromSheshnag to Pahalgam hospital on the directions of Governor Satya Pal Malik.
In all, 17 critically ill pilgrims have been airlifted bythe Shrine Board for immediate specialized treatment till date.
