Officials led by Tehsidar Nusrat Aziz retrieved state land (kahcharie) in Budgam district here.
The officials said a report from the field staff wasreceived stating that some persons were illegally trying to occupy the stateland. “Action was taken immediately against the guilty persons,” a statementsaid.
“Some constructions on Kahcharie land were also started atvillage Bemina which were stopped by the team of officials,” the statementsaid.
“We removed the encroachment done through earth filing.Land on which the encroachment was done is measuring 125 Kanal and 10 Marlas,out of which 80 Kanal and 05 Marlas were retrieved on the spot,” NusratAziz said.
“Some constructions had also been started at villageBemina on Kahcharie land at sector 11 estate Bemina. The constructions weredemolished and land measuring 25 Kanals were retrieved from theencroachers,” the statement said.
