National Conference President, Dr Farooq Abdullah, and Vice-President, Omar Abdullah, Wednesday expressed grief over the demise of Dr Anis Shahmiri, son of former Managing Director JKPDC Javid Shahmiri and nephew of former Chief Engineer Iqbal Shahmiri, who passed away in Florida, USA the other day.
The duo, while expressing grief, prayed for peace to thedeparted soul and strength to the bereaved family. The duo also extendedcondolences to the party’s YNC provincial secretary Mudassir Shahmiri. Partygeneral secretary Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar has also conveyed his condolenceswith the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Omar Abdullah, accompanied by other partyleaders, including Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Party TreasurerShammi Oberoi, political advisor to vice president Tanvir Sadiq, ProvincialPresident YNC Salman Ali Sagar, Provincial Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar and YNCVice President Ahsan Pardesi, visited the Shahmiris at Baghat Barzulla.
