BJP spokeswoman DarakhshanAndrabi Monday said Abdullah and Mufti families had destroyed J&K Minerals and J&K Cements.
A statement of BJP issued here said that Andrabi while addressing a rally at Malikabad village of Qazigund said that the government would soon announce a new industrial policy for Jammu and Kashmir and create immense job opportunities for J&K’s youth.
“Earlier we had J&K Minerals and J&K Cements as the profit-making industrial units in J&K but governments run by Abdullahs and Muftis made them collapse because their vision of running J&K was limited to personal development and progress only. They were running J&K like a private company,” the statement quoted Andrabi as saying.
The statement said she visited many hamlets of Vessu constituency and sought vote and support for BJP candidate Rafiq Ahmad Wani who is contesting the District Development Council (DDC) polls.
Andrabi said in the statement that a world-class tourism sector was being developed on a priority basis in J&K and when peace had now dawned in the lives of the people after decades, new job and business opportunities were being created. It said that also she informed the people about the government’s revival missions for agriculture and horticulture sectors.
