All the Employees of J&K Accounts Cadre went on Mass Casual Leave on Thursday and staged a strong protest at all the respective Treasuries of the state against what they termed as “official apathy” of the higher authorities to address their demands.
In a statement here a spokesman of the association said, “President of the Association (Kashmir Province) Mushtaq Ahmad Mughal, treasury officer, Pampore Treasury was placed under suspension on fabricated grounds.” He said that employees have gone on strike to press the authorities to fulfill their demands and revoke Mushtaq’s suspension order.
