Gyanesh Kumar, Additional Secretary Home, GoI, accompaniedby senior Intelligence Officer, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavanin Srinagar today.
Kumar briefed Governor about extensive meetings they hadwith the State police, intelligence agencies and the officers of the StateGovernment regarding the fool proof arrangements being made for the smoothconduct of Amarnathji Yatra including enroute facilities for the Yatris andsecurity issues thereof, said a Raj Bhawan spokesman.
They also informed Governor about the aerial reconnaissanceundertaken by them of both the Pahalgam and Baltal Yatra routes and theirobservations regarding the Yatra arrangements during reconnaissance.
