Governor’s advisor Khurshid Ahmad Ganai and leaders of various political parties have condoled the demise of Mufti Azam Mufti Bashiruddin.
In his condolence message, Ganai expressed deep sympathies with the family and followers of Mufti Azam and prayed for place for his soul in Jannat-ul-Firdous. The Advisor also prayed for strength to the bereaved family and admirers of the late Mufti Azam.
National Conference leaders Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Abdul Rahim Rather, Mian Altaf and provincial spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar and NC youth wing provincial vice president Ahsan Pardesi have also expressed grief over the demise Grand Mufti.
PDP MLC Muhammad Khurshid Aalam, former union minster and senior Congress leader Professor Saif-u-Din Soz expressed grief over sad demise of Farooqi and prayed for peace to the departed soul. JKPCC president, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, CPI (M) leader M Y Tarigami, JKPCC vice-president and former MLC GN Monga , chairman of Peoples Democratic Front (PDF), Hakeem Yaseen, senior PDP leader Nizamudin Bhat, president of APSCC, Jagmohan Singh Raina, senior trade union leader acting president EJAC Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam and prominent social worker advocate Sheer Ali Boda have condoled the demise and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
