Governor’s Advisor Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, Tuesday directed the administrative secretaries of School Education, Higher Education and Technical Education departments to take urgent steps to improve the punctuality and discipline in the institutions under their respective departments and also take short-term and long-term measures to improve the standards and quality of education in the State.
The Advisor, who is in-charge of the Education department,observed that unless the teachers in schools and teaching faculty in collegesand universities take keen interest in their work, the learning outcomes maynot improve.
