Advisors, bureaucrats, politicians greet people on Eid-ul-Fitr

Advisor Khurshid Ahmed Ganai

Advisor to Governor and Chairman J&K Muslim Wakf Board/Wakf Council Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, has extended his warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and prayed that Almighty Allah reward Rozadars with His bounties and mercy.

   

Urging thepeople to celebrate Eid with simplicity, Ganai said that Allah commands us tobe not amongst those who indulge in extravagance, which He dislikes. He alsomade a fervent appeal to the people to avoid wastage of food and resources andbe conscious towards their neighbours, orphans and the needy so that they alsobecome part of the Eid celebrations. 

Ganai alsoprayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State.

Sajad Lone

Peoples Conference(PC) chairman and former minister, Sajad Gani Lone on Tuesday extendedgreetings of Eid-ul-Fitr to the people, praying for the peace and tranquilityof the State.

Lone in a statement said that the governmentshould ensure all requisite arrangements are put in place for smooth conduct ofthe festival.

He also wished the people peace, progress,prosperity and happiness and hoped that this occasion would be a harbinger ofcommunal harmony, brotherhood and amity.

Imran Ansari

Peoples Conference(PC) General Secretary and former minister, Imran Raza Ansari Tuesday greetedpeople on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In a statementhe underlined the need of remembering economically downtrodden andunderprivileged people in the state on the occasion. Imran added that a helpinghand from the society’s affluent is must to make the state a better place tolive in.

He also wished the people peace, progress,prosperity and happiness and hoped that this occasion would be a harbinger ofcommunal harmony, brotherhood and amity.

Advisor K. Vijay Kumar

Advisor to Governor,K. Vijay Kumar has greeted people of the state on the auspicious occasion ofEid-ul-Fitr.

In a message of felicitation, the Advisordescribed the festival as a reward from Almighty Allah. He said celebrating Eidteaches us camaraderie, friendship, mutual respect and love for the masses. Heappealed people to remember their neighbours, orphans and the needy during Eidcelebrations. 

Kumar also prayed for peace, progress andprosperity in the state.

Advisor K Skandan

The Advisor toGovernor K Skandan, has greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the joyousoccasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. In his message, Advisor Skandan said that the festivalof Eid is a celebration of the spirit of sharing and brotherhood while prayingfor the peace, progress, prosperity and happiness of the state and its people.The Advisor, in his message, extended his greetings and good wishes to peopleon the holy occasion.

Chief Secretary B.V.R Subhramanyam

Chief SecretaryB.V.R Subhramanyam has extended warm greetings to the people of the State onthe auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In his message, theChief Secretary said that the festival marks the culmination of Ramadhan – themonth of intense devotion, worship, blessings and forgiveness. Ramadhan givesan opportunity to mould and develop one’s character and symbolizes rededicatingthe self to the spirit of compassion, peace, patience and discipline, he said.

Eid is a manifestation of the spirit ofRamadhan. It is a commemoration that marks solidarity through special prayers,sympathy for the poor, needy and the less fortunate and forgiveness as a rewardto those who observe the obligatory fast for the month.

On the occasion,Chief Secretary prayed for prosperity and happiness to the people of in thestate.

Director General of Police Dilbag Singh

On the auspicious occasionof Eid-ul-Fitr, Director General of Police Dilbag Singh has greeted families ofmartyrs, police and security forces personnel and their families a joyful Eid.

In his message, DGP has expressed hope thatthe festival will instil more dedication and commitment among the personneltowards service of people and the nation. He has wished that this festival willbring peace and prosperity to the people of Jammu and Kashmir State.

Advisor K. K. Sharma

Advisor to Governor,K. K. Sharma has extended greetings to the people of the state on theauspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In a message, the Advisor said celebratingEid ul Fitr teaches us concepts of camaraderie, friendship, mutual respect andlove for the destitute and downtrodden. He hoped the festival brings peace,prosperity and happiness to the people of the state.

Sharma also appealed people to remembertheir neighbours, orphans and the needy during Eid celebrations. 

Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami

CPI (M) leaderMohammad Yousuf Tarigami today extended greetings to the people on theauspicious occasion of Eid-ul Fitr.

Wishing a happy and prosperous Eid, Tarigamisaid he hopes this festival of joy and happiness will usher in peace andprosperity to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “May this festival strengthenmutual goodwill and inspire each one of us to follow the path of love,friendship, harmony and peace in the state,” he said, in his Eid message.

Ghulam Hassan Mir

President Jammu andKashmir Democratic Party Nationalist (JKDPN) and former Minister forAgriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir greets people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In his greeting message Mir said,”Eid-ul-Fitr is the festival celebrated with gaiety and piety all across theworld and marks the culmination of the period of fasting and prayer during theholy month of Ramadan and infuses in us a sense of brotherhood and spirit ofjoy.”

“On this auspicious occasion I pray foreverlasting peace and prosperity of our trouble torn state of Jammu andKashmir,” Mir said.

“I wish whole Muslim Ummah in general andpeople of Jammu and Kashmir in particular very happy and peaceful Eid-ul-Fitr,”he said.

“May Allah accept our good deeds, forgiveour transgressions and ease the suffering of all people around the world,” Mirfurther added.

Mirwaiz Raiyaz Ahmad Hamdani

Jammu KashmirJamiat-e-Hamdaniya (JeH) patron Mirwaiz Raiyaz Ahmad Hamdani today extended hisfelicitations to the whole Muslim Ummah in general and people of the state inparticular on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In his message to the people of Jammu andKashmir, Mirwaiz Hamdani prayed for the peace and prosperity of the state.

He urged the people to observe simplicityand austerity while celebrating the Eid and not to forget the poor, destituteand needy and especially those who have been affected by the situation inKashmir.

G A Mir

Jammu and KashmirPradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G A Mir Tuesday greeted people onthe auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Fitr and prayed for wellbeing of the people.

Mir in a statement issued said that the festival of Eid is a unique andspecial occasion leading the mankind on the path of peace, harmony andtruthfulness.

Festival will continue to be the integral part of our lives providing theopportunities to intermingle and exchange ideas with each other, Mir said,adding that Eid Ul Fitr is reward from Almighty to people especially those whoobserve fast in the holy month to seeks mercy and forgiveness from Him.

Let the occasion usher in an era of complete peace and inclusivedevelopment of J&K. Praying for well being of the people, Mir added andhoped that Eid Ul Fitr will bring the smile on the faces of people especiallypoor and needy.

PDP leaders

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Vice President Abdul Rahman Veeri hasfelicitated the people of State on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In his message, the PDP Vice President wished the people peace, progress,prosperity and happiness and hoped that this occasion would be a harbinger ofcommunal harmony, brotherhood and amity.

PDP General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura in his Eid message saidthat Eid was an occasion to rededicate ourselves to the teachings of Islam andpreaching’s of Prophet (SAW).

Hanjura also appealed to the people to observe austerity and extend helpto the poor and needy on Eid.

PDP youth secretary Arif Laigaroo also greeted the people on the occasionof Eid-ul-Fitr.

Praying for peace and prosperity in the state, Laigaroo in his messagesaid: “The spirit behind the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr is to express our thanksto Almighty Allah for giving us the courage to observe fasting in the month ofRamzan and rededicate ourselves to the path of truthfulness, sincerity,self-control, patience and human dignity”.

He extended his warmest greetings to the people of the state and prayedthis auspicious occasion becomes a new harbinger for peace and amity in thestate. He also hoped that this auspicious occasion would strengthen the bondsof communal harmony and brotherhood.

APSCC

Expressing joy and happiness over the festival ofEid-ul-fitr, All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) has expressed hopethat the festival of Eid would be the harbinger of peace and prosperity in thestate, more so Kashmir valley.

 The All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee(APSCC) has extended warm greetings on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr to thepeople of the state and particularly the majority Muslim community. In astatement issued here today, the Chairman of the APSCC, Jagmohan Singh Rainahoped that it would further strengthen the bonds between different communitiesliving harmoniously in the state. He said that the people belonging todifferent communities, including Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians andBuddhists have had age old bonds of living together in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.

Mudasir Amin

Former vice chairman Labour Welfare Board andrenowned social activist Mudasir Amin has greeted people on the auspiciousoccasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and prayed for well-being of the people. In hisgreetings message, Amin has said that the occasion marks offering of gratitudeto Almighty Allah for granting patience to observe fasts during the month ofholy Ramadhan. He said the occasion teaches us compassion, mercy and kindnesstowards humanity and human cause.
